Featured Story
On August 15, 2026, EDC partnered with the African Women’s Cancer Awareness Association and Renaissance Natural Hair Braiding to host a Back-to-School Drive and Community Health Event. Together, we helped local families prepare for the new school year by providing 250 backpacks filled with essential school supplies. Young men received haircuts, while young ladies received professional hair braiding services. The event also offered community health checks, connecting families with resources that support their health and well-being. This event reflects EDC’s commitment to bringing residents, community organizations, and local businesses together to meet practical needs and strengthen our community.
